I think that access to knowledge has an huge effect. So yes technology is the double edge sword. The internet is huge for making truth available if you know how to look. I think technology in the hands of people can be decentralizing and threaten centralized control. I think Institutions are built around politics, money, control and power. I Imagine these huge bureaucratic structures that are in bed with big corporations are in survival mode because of people seeing through the bull. What they do is go to politics and contribute huge $ to implement laws and make policy at the cost of our freedom. Alot of what we are seeing is the elite structure trying to keep the centralized control of markets. At the same time attempting the power grab we saw in Germany with corporate Government partnerships.
