Crazy that places with strict gun control laws get hit hardest. I guess there is logic in laws. -yurimon

What does your point matter if one can easily travel from another state into NY (or any other place with stricter gun laws) without being searched at the border. They don't perform checks on people when travelling from state to state... unless your vehicle looks suspicious or something.
It's a national issue, not a state one.
- Which is why the NYPD practice stop-and-frisk. Leave no civil liberty unturned.melq
- Making something illegal doesn't make it in accessible. it creates super criminal. its Historicyurimon
- I'm saying if you're going to make it illegal, make it illegal in the entire country. Only making it illegal in NY does nothing, sinceCanHasQBN
- since anyone can bring in a weapon from another state. And I'm not just talking about NY, but any line where searches areCanHasQBN
- searches are not performed.CanHasQBN
- please melq, you think that stop & frisk thing does anything? They aren't frisking everybody that comes into NY & u know it.CanHasQBN
- You're for a) disarming every citizen; b) random searches of all citizens; or c) both?melq
- Yes, I think stop-and-frisk does something: It tramples on citizens' rights, particularly minorities.melq
- Well if you take care of A, then B is taken care of automatically. But I am not proposing to outright ban guns.CanHasQBN
- ...You people will not even allow any restrictions to be placed on guns. A 100 magazine is fine with you???CanHasQBN
- "You people"?melq
- gun toters. you people.CanHasQBN
- "Gun toters!" vs. "Gun grabbers!"
^ I don't even try to have a reasonable discussion with either side that talks like that.melq - ...either side that talks like that.melq
- why not, cowboy? don't get your chaps in a bunch.CanHasQBN
