If/when I get a chance to go to an Asian country you can bet I'll eat just about anything the locals eat. I have no presumptions that would keep me from enjoying something different. Food is food, and the cuteness of the animal shouldn't be a factor (at least it isn't for me).
I have close friends who refuse to eat lamb, but they struggle to give me a reason why. I ask them if they've tried it, and they say no, and that they won't even try. I find this frustrating beyond words.
