one of my fondest memories playing video games, was back in the early 90s.. dopepope was watching this chick's apartment and he had his playstation 1 there. Resident Evil just came out.. well one night i went over to get drunk and high and play RE1 for the first time ever..
but playing the game came with specific instructions.
1. what ever happens in the game DONT SAVE
2. if you die, DONT SAVE
3. WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT FUCKING SAVE!!
this was because back on the ps1 the memory cards that we used had so little memory space on them, that if i saved, it would take up a block, that he needed for his games..
not that he couldnt save on top of it or erase it.. the point was made DONT SAVE..
well we got hella drunk.. and as the night passed on during all the games i played i would die so fast.. but as the night passed on, so did dopepope, he passed out on the bed, and his last words before passing out was "ed dont save, ok? you promise??" and i was like yeh no problem..
but after like 1 hour of dying endlessly, i look over and see dopepope snoring asleep, so the first thing i do, is SAVE.
the fucking sound of the typewritter chihk chihk chihk goes off and dopepope immeadietly wakes up like a bomb blew up next to his head and he was furious!!!
screaming "I TOLD YOU NOT TO FUCKING SAVE!!!!" RAWR RAWR RAWR!!
but i was like, "i got so far in the game, further than you did" I HAD TO SAVE!!!
but dopepope was so pissed off and didnt want to see where i was in the game that he pulled the plug out of the socket erasing the game..
this is was one of my fondest experiences playing video games..
