compressing WAV

    you can download a demo version of Sound Forge at http://www.sonicfoundry.com which will forward you to SONY's site who now own that product. Using Demo Sound Forge 7.0 you can compress the hell out of a .wav file by using the wavehammer feature. It should allow you to do this at least once and export. It will decrease the shit out of your file by half. Otherwise you can play around with different formats. Converting from .wav -> .mp3 or .wma will drastically reduce the size of your file, but at the same time also reduce the quality.
