    RAW is going to strip out any of the adjustments. For example, jpegs "adjust" the image (sat, contrast, etc., etc.). Most of the time, they look better coming out of the camera because of this.

    With RAW you have to make those adjustments in Camera Raw or Lightroom (I know, can be a pain, esp when you see that pretty preview in Lr, then it quickly changes to a boring image as the RAW files loads over the jpeg preview).

    Just shoot in a standard mode, adjust in Lr or Ps after.
