Look, just about everyone on this planet makes mistakes in life and has unhappy experiences; most people go through tough times and feel depressed, angry, alone, and many feel the urge to be generally mad at life. To say you haven't imagined acting on these emotions in the form of revenge would be lying. Thing is, most people who consider themselves level-headed and "normal" have the kind of self control and conscience to not act on them in such a horrific way.

Lack of comfort and love in life happens. There are countless songs and themes about this going back to the beginning of civilization. Many people call it the "human condition" and religions are all quick to point out that life is full of suffering. It is our responsibility to maintain society and not make killing so glorified and simple to execute. Standing up for oneself is good, but murder is not a viable response.

Guns are pointless. Period. This kid thought, naively, that his problems were bigger than everyone else's, a true sign of delusion. Poor kid. I feel bad for him, his family, and all of the victims.

    • not pointless, pointless to the life you choose to live.
