honestly, we used to joke at one "award winning agency" that every time we won a bunch of awards, we lost some clients.... it seemed clients were attracted to us as an "award winning agency" but when we actually won an award with an ad for them, they thought we were more interested in the awards committee's opinion than actually selling anything....
