I tell you summat though, those 'engineers' come in a wide variety of sizes...
That's the one they found in the first Alien ^ . About 6 times bigger than the ones in Prometheus which are pretty much just very tall humans.
No doubt that's another continuity issue that gets resolved by the phrase "Its not a prequel".
