  i had a '01 R1 limited edition i paid around 12k for (they only made 1000 of them in the states) took that sucker @ 178mph one time and 183mph another, and thats before i souped up the motor and added pipes.
  holy crap was that ever worth $12k, my mistake was making my daily rider a race bike on the track, there went that.
