    Sorry to hear. I have come close several times to hitting deer. Just remember this. Hopefully this will make you feel better. Your intent is that of someone who cares. You didn't want to harm this animal it was an accident. Sometimes nature has a hard time adjusting to our modern world. Squirrels are busy having fun, the new borns are running around having fun and don't realize the danger we are to them.

    Make it up to nature by picking up some trash or leaving some nuts for the silly squirrels. Where I live they will climb up your leg for a peanut or sit on your shoulder. I'll have to post some picks.
