As a young asshole kid me and my friends wanted free soda, so we did the dollar trick where you take a dollar bill, and on both sides put scotch tape, extending about 6" from the end of the dollar.
Then you put it in the soda machine, let it suck the dollar in then pull it out. You get the soda and the change back. We would do this for a while, had tons of soda and change, which we used to buy videogames and magazines. Dont know if this trick still works on modern soda/candy machines.
