I wonder how many batman fans know this tidbit,
think of it as comic embellishment

which means the huge fortune batman uses to "combat" crime comes from drugs trafficking.that put the joker in a different light, maybe batman was just a rich, spoiled kid from a drug dealing family and the joker the good guy of chaos who wanted to put an end to their control of gotham's underworld.
