Awesome - what a genuinely more civil and compassionate thread this is, compared to what it would have been even 10, maybe 5 years ago. The more people know and get to know, and become friends with, and love, people with gender-assignment and expression differences from themselves, the more accepted it becomes, and the more people with those identities express it and so it accelerates. I don't care one way or another what you want to be called or identify as, whether you want to be called he or she, or who you're attracted to, and I think that's truer and truer for more people.
