I don't think its case of Hipsters, more that a street that was a bit different from the rest of London is soon going to be homogenised and the thing that made it special is going to be gone forever.
What will happen when everywhere is gentrified?
In Newington Green the residents protested against a Tesco Express being located there and won.
Communities need to be stronger to resist these type of things.
