Isn't horse breeding a word of mouth kind of thing? it exists on two levels.

First, as simple livestock, though this practice is becoming less popular as the number of "Farmers" in the traditional family sense has been replaced by mega farming, though there is still money to be made in the trade. If you can raise them, they'll sell, but either at a lower price or fewer quantity.

Second is the thoroughbred, a much more lucrative business. Thoroughbreds are only bred so often and with certain methods. There are contracts involved to prevent sharing of samples as well as ownership right sharing of offspring.

Given the complexities & privacy involved in the situation, I'd say sites like this are few and far between other than a simple sites like the first simply offing the option for livestock as a commodity more so than the investment made into a thoroughbred.
