They should all just admit they work in marketing/PR and that they aren't really experts in anything.

    • Well, they do they work in marketing/PR. And why can't they be experts?haga
    • If they were experts in social media they would be picking and choosing there salaries with the top companies in the worlduuuuuu
    • ...world. Also they would be in high level think tanks and doing private consultation with Charlie Sheen's people.uuuuuu
    • Not sure people realize the meaning of the word "expert".uuuuuu
    • i don't think that just because you're a 'expert' that means you can pick your own $...bjladams
    • Having professional experience and knowledge of a sub-field of marketing does not constitute expertise or specialty.uuuuuu
    • Its just a phrase. They would be in demand to say the least, not like merely employed.uuuuuu
    • seems a lot of these guys are well paid, and bring a lot of attention to their companies...bjladams
    • but they aren't experts duh... they are just valuable employees. I'd allow them to claim a specialty but expert is simply wrong and misleading.uuuuuu
    • ... misleading. Experts in science or industry for example have to earn the word 'expert' and are paid for it.uuuuuu
    • You get 'expert' added to your resume when you've accomplished something significant for the ENTIRE field.uuuuuu
    • ... field you're in.uuuuuu
    • well, seems your the expert then.bjladams
    • see no.... I'm just correct. Its like people really don't know what 'expert' actually means.uuuuuu
