I read somewhere that the Hobbit can still be viewed in 24fps, so this may not even be that big of a deal. I dont know how it all works, I just know about the effect that all these people are describing when they saw it.
I know a lot of people do like all this 3D super smooth motion stuff, Avatar really got this kicked off, and you cant even buy an LED TV that doesnt have 3D built into it, so I know it's not going away and what I personally think about it is irrelevant, but I still just like good old fashioned movies that look normal. No 3D (I get dizzy from it), and no motion flow.
