Shantanu Narayen has done more to kill Flash than Steve Jobs ever did. Remember all those wasted years when they could have been innovating when they just sat back pushing Flash as a video player.
Remember when they tried to force a square peg into a round hole by pushing it as a Web 2.0 app platform when that was flavour of the day.
Remember that 2 years they wasted pushing it as a mobile app platform.All this time their animation and multimedia tool sat neglected as their own developers all just use FDT/Eclipse these days.
I haven't a fucking clue why any of you designers are defending it when Adobe hasn't given a shit about you for about 10 years now, they just tried to push it into more lucrative markets than flashy UIs and animation. Anyone who has used a decent animation tool like After Effects or any 3D software can see the animation system in Flash is a complete joke and Adobe doesn't give a shit.
