    aaron sorkin...

this means that half way through the first season he'll use the show to get on his soap box.

His shows have a tendency to be the same. Ensemble cast, stories wound up in an environment where there is usually some sort of tight deadline. Granted I've enjoyed this in the past (west wing excluded, haven't seen that) but I'm not sure how much of that sort of thing I actually want to watch in a lifetime.

    • Also - haven't seen a damn thing about the show - i can't watch the trailer from the train. so i may be really off base.jtb26
    • "he'll use the show to get on his soap box." You mean...a writer will use his work to express an opinion? The gall...futuremongolian
    • west wing is his best, you should get on that.colin_s
    • So it's not JUST that he gets on a soap box. It's how obvious and preachy it is. I usually agree with it - but it's not what I want from a show.jtb26
    • want out of my entertainment. I'll watch Jon Stewart for that thank you very much.jtb26
