    Connection speed isn't something that is measured by standard HTTP server logs --- it takes a bit of scripting to make it happen, so the answer is more of a survey demographic than a statistic. The answer also heavily depends on where you're asking from --- different demographics in USA vs Europe vs Japan, etc.

    More importantly might be who is the target market for your website, and are people more likely to access it at home or at work. Your boss is likely right that 65+% home connections are 'narrowband' but 65+% office connections are broadband.
