One other reason to go bowens is that you can get chinese strobes pretty cheap that use the same s-mount for softboxes/etc.... and not have a compatibility issue as long as all your lights use the bowens S mount. You have no idea how important this is until you want to move a softbox from one light to another easily without a time-wasting delay in the middle of your shoot...
It's possible the Electra lights may user a bowens S-mount, I have no idea, but I'd assume not.....
