i didnt take it as a personal attack, but it seems as though you have done no market research and have concluded that your way is the best way. people who go to our funky navigational/sideways/bass-ackwa... sites are intrigued at how "cool" it looks. its proven that a fullscreen website is more provocative than a simple low bandwidth site that has no effects or animation. end users that see their AIM windows and email clients in the background are distracted by that. a fullscreen site will block that and immerse the *pardon me* simple minded user in an environment that our client has paid for. clients get business = we get business. a flashy, immersive, interactive site it a better seller than a simple, conventional site that is too basic to keep the user there long enough to buy something. yes, minimalistic views have there good points, but somtimes, depending on the client.. crazy is NECESSARY.
2 thumbs up for all the web desingners that stay up for a week to produce the annoying site that shone closes immediatly!!
