we've got a client that's really bad at articulating themselves - even yes/no questions get a 3 paragraph ambiguous answer. but, they always pay in advance and always have a steady stream of things for us to work on.
anyway, today we just nailed down what they actually do - we've made brochures, websites, and all sorts of advertising under their direction without really being able to work it out. it's been 3 years.
