I just read a great review of that episode on some site and realized that Rick isn't that great of a person. You sort of pull for him in a way as the "leader" but his decisions are just as much up to the same negative scrutiny that he gave Shane on certain decisions. His reaction to what Shane said about him as a father and husband obviously put him over the edge - I guess I'm realizing that some of it's definitely true.
- for me, that's why he's such a great character. It's one of the things they've brought over really nicely from the books.Wolfboy
