Why not first volunteer at a Special Needs Centre/School to see if you are cut out for it?
After a 2 day photo shoot this week at a Respite and an Aged/Dementia Care Centre I realised it takes a very compassionate, positive, empathetic, patient, creative and supportive person to last at this type of job. The staff there had my utmost respect by the end of the shoot.
