    Shone237...

Coming from someone who does video, I can see your point. But that is like saying, "Stop with all the Rock & D&B music in your reels. I don't want to see you all the crap that you can do on your own reel. Just show me what you have done. No one cares about the loud music and fast moving clips combined with all of the other stuff that wasn't even in the piece you are showing me. Your reels are confusing as I don't know what is a part of the client piece and a part of the reel."

When I start seeing video reels from motion graphic artists that are just a bunch of client pieces placed back to back on a time line with no attempt of presentation, I will start to consider the minimal approach to who we ad designers present ourselves. Even more as a webdesigner. Clients like the large window that pops up when the go to a website and is full of cool looking stuff. That is we why get hired.

    =)

Shone... I am sorry but you are wrong in this case chief. Again, when you take a minimal approach with your reels and only show what you have done and don't try to fancy it up with duotone gradients & vector graphics that mean squat to the pieced in the reel, we will take your comment into consideration. Until then, nice work! I like the way you present your work in your reel!

    =)

    cheers!
