If you final product is print, then swatch book is the most accurate way to tell.
There's no way online (as far as i know) can show colour more true to life as web browser only supports sRGB colours. And PANTONE is... well PANTONE colours. Different type of colour medium system. One is additive colour and one is subtractive colour. Plus different paper stock display colour differently.

Your best bet is to hire someone to colour calibrates your monitor (assuming you have a professional grade monitor). Or buy a "Pantone ColorMunki Design". Used it and loved it. It allows you to scan both monitor and print then generates a profile for each to have the closest to accurate colour possible. it supports PANTONE colour as well.
