One of the more high-profile digital shops around here is guilty of high-turnaround for interns. When I was in college they were promising "career-defining experiences" and a "chance to work with huge clients"... which really meant working 80+ hrs a week as a slave creating dull content for some lame digital campaign. In what I gather from talking to colleagues, not much has changed. The interns come in, work for 2-3 months and then bail.
