    Day 17 without skipping a day! I gotta say though... it was really hard the last couple of days - my legs were so tight and my head light and airy... My body forced me to stop and take a 20 second breaks a few times...

    ... but today was different. I shaved at least 2 mins off my fastest time up the hill (32 mins to climb - usually takes about 35-37)... and next to no leg pain at all today.

    I still need to lose the last smidgens of my 'muffin top'... but - a year ago I was wearing 36"-38" waste jeans (pudgy bastard that I was)... today I'm wearing 31"!

    Also - my 'Geriatric Gym' up and closed on all us patients last week - the place was open over 30 years and just like that... gone. That gym cost me $100 / month... and had 'iffy' gear / equipment at best. So, I went to this place called the 'AZ Heart Institute' to check out their 'heart disease maintenance' program (I can literally walk to it too... it's about a 1/2 mile from my home)... Turns out that they have all brand new equipment and are 50% cheaper a month.

    I'm climbing mountains and saving money, folks.
