ok i read the article.. and i can agree that america will never be able to compete with china in the slightest.. the truth about the magnitude of factories who share neighboring areas for any product development makes it easier to finalize any conceptual idea.
if i need to get something created here.. the stress of figuring out where to get 2 things done at once is a fucking nightmare.. but over there.. i can walk from block to block and in a few hours.. my chicken scratch idea i concepted on a cocktail napkin the night before is not only complete.. i can push it to production within a few days..
im not even describing a 3D print.. im talking about multiple fabrications and constructions .. a physical proto sample.
to think of getting that anywhere in america is a fantasy dream..
i 100% agree with steve jobs, that those jobs in china will never return to america.
