    have to agree with CAJTBr.

    If anyone has been to Tokyo or NYC (where i'm at), the dunks are essentially the offical shoe of the under 30 years olds.
    Nike has seen COUNTLESS companies (skate & non-skate) rip off the dunk. they might as well cash in on them. they invented it in the first place.

    also, virtually everything you have on is probably made in southeast asia. just a fact. adidas is as bad as nike, banana republic/gap etc. nike got hated on because they were making the most coin. thats all.

    skating is a jock sport now anyway. I read some tidbit that there are more kids skating than playing baseball or something crazy like that. It stopped being punk about 15 years ago anyway. but if you still like to do it, then who cares?

    yes, savier essentially is a nike company. they have a relationship much like a "indy" label does with a major record company.
