That's a saccharine little story that has little to do with the real causes and need of a declining middle class in America. And paying poor people $50 to do work is simply an old school American value of neither "party". It's just called an honest days pay for an honest days work. And hell, the Modern Republican party doesn't own houses in the US, but rather in the Cayman islands where they pay the help cents on the dollar to keep it clean. And they outsource good jobs to China where they pay again cents on the dollar to do what Americans used to do for a living wage. And that's why the poor fellow is homeless.
