Lonely Planet has some fairly nice guides but popular destinations only it seems. I like the Kayak app for hotels, cars, flights, etc. Neither one does it all, and I'm not aware of any that do.

I like mg33's idea a lot and think it that's a great idea. I wonder though if it wouldn't be beneficial it if was Google Maps/Earth based. Google Maps/Earth is already tagged with photos of places, icons for a few sites to see, some restaurants, etc..I think it would be great to be able to put my finger on a map, look at the street view(s), see icons for good food and nice hotels, gas/petrol stations, trains, make reservations through web links, etc. What a benefit it would be to making travel arrangements, planning details and making reservations. It might also incorporate GPS capabilities so driving coordinates could be exported..

    That's a killer idea.

    • I don't talk about it much, but I've been working on an idea for a couple years now in my head. It doesn't exist, which is why I keep it quiet...mg33
    • why I keep it to myself. But really researching how I can put my foot forward, meet some people, tech incubators, etc.mg33
    • My band days are done, and as I get older my focus starts to narrow towards what the next thing in my career is, what I can make the most of.mg33
    • make the most of. I just need to find the determination and way to move forward this year.mg33
