    iPad is still a tad too thick and much too heavy. It is still in its teething period.

    Have you held a Kindle 3 (w. keyboard) in your hand? It weighs about as much as an iPad cover from Apple, you don't notice any weight. And it is thinner.

    There are also rumours of a thinner, lighter MacBook Air—I'll swap mine with pleasure.
