I think its mainly because that generation grew up under huge oppression, I remember talking with these 2 serbian guys when I first moved to california, and they were ALL ABOUT THE PARTY, as in..
24/7They started talking to me about growing up during war, and military taking advantage of people, when all that stopped they finally experience freedom, and they appreciate it so much more than other people, because most of us , take it for granted.
So in their minds, they are probably thinking that this is temporary and could go back to be how it was when they were kids, so they go all out, all the time.
It's a very interesting story even when you look behind the huge amount of party and model-looking naked chicks.
