I think marines pissing on corpses is indicative of the deeply intractible and morally compromised situation they are in, rather than being the problem in and of itself. Sure they shouldn't be doing it. Definitely there is no moral justification for doing it, but perhaps they are operating in a situation completely devoid of any moral parameters to judge ones actions by, and if that is the case, the responsibility for this travesty lies elsewhere. Higher up. In well appointed offices with deep comfortable office chairs and vast oak desks with the symbols of glory and power draped around the rooms.
You can't breed berserkers for mortal conflict, then ask them to conduct their business with diplomacy and respect.
