The s90/95 is a great little camera. The major strength of it being its compactness. But i often think the LX5 is my fave of that bunch due to the better aperture through the ranges and wide angle -
The s90/95 has to go all the way to 4.9 in the tele end, which is a huge difference to the LX5's 3.3, and i also prefer the LX5's 1/4000th shutter to the s90/95's 1/1600th of a second.
Dont get me wrong they arent bokeh licious cams, but in light gathering terms its a big difference.
Much like the tl500 has a 1.8-2.4 aperture, but with a max shutter of 1/1500th of a sec its less desirable too.
The s90/95 is awesome though, such good macro and actually pocketable! unlike a lot of other 'compacts'. The XZ-1 for instance is quite big for a compact, the LX5 isnt all that small either, but for me its pocketable.
Sadly the color rendition on the Lx5 isnt as accurate or pleasing as the s95, but you cant have it all and its still awesome!
