here is a tip.. if you are playing as recon, and you are setting up a mobile spawn point using the radio beacon.. and you place it out in an open area.. your team mates will spawn in the sky and will parachute down leaving them exposed to the enemy..
if possible always try to place them under some sort of covered area so they will spawn where you place it.
use the containers and place them in there.. usually a great spot.. or on a second floor in a building.. not on the roof.

- also if you spawn on your own beacon no matter what class you use, it will destroy it.e-pill
