I have one on my site that is a Vcard. I have all the info next to it but if someone wants to save my contact, 1 scan and it's done, no need to manually type all the fields. How is that bad?
It is the use people give to stuff that is bad, not the other way around.
QR codes shouldn't replace URL's or any important info, they're just a plus that you can use to facilitate the way you deliver a message.
