actually I think that designers are obsessive by nature, call em nerds or geeks or hipsters, doesn't matter. Just insular people who get into stuff quite heavily and struggle with women. On the bright side, designers generally get to assume a higher aesthetic standpoint, allowing us all to look down on the great unwashed.
