I am not a fan of Sagmeister's work, I found his TED talk "Shares Happy Design" boring and incoherent, and I do not like his design aesthetic. But you have to give Sagmeister a lot of credit for marketing and promoting himself as well as convincing the design world that he is a creative genius... this is Sagmeister's true talent and not many people can do it as well as he can - kudos!
