I'm a gun enthusiast (don't own one but whenever i get a chance i go to a shooting range to fire a gun or a rifle) but you will never convince me that guns are for self protection. The home invasion argument is some horrible NRA propaganda that has absolutely no merit. I mean how is it that each time you speak to someone from gun loving state they use this specific argument? Do they all live in some god forsaken ghetto where people break into people's houses every day?? Clearly this is not the case and someone with their agenda is playing on those poor soul's fears. If i were you i wouldn't repeat such a simplistic argument if for no other reason that you don't want to be a perceived as someone's tool.
