I am a graphic designer. I have a child. His name is Dex. And by child, I mean a beautiful and extremely happy Tabby/Aussie cat. So yes, I would believe this.

My belief is that creatives are typically cat people rather than dog people. "Dog people" are typically (again, totally isolated to my belief and experience) left-brained, type-A humanoids that for some unspeakable reason go to the gym at 6am before work, feel the need to dominate and "train" a canine creature into believing that they are master and god, and refer to their friends as "bros" and even others closer to them as "brohuans." These type-A humanoids are also characteristically defined by their need for watching and competing in sports, their blind and ignorant devotion to Christianity, endless television viewing, and helpless ignorance of world affairs due to their obedience of the "red vs. blue" false paradigm.

Again, this is just my belief. :P
