    Plash, you are awesome. thanks so much for the help dude, really appreciate it.

    My final question is, a mate of mind said when he plays some youtube videos (at the highest quality you can on the ipad) they sometimes stutter and some simply refuse to play, have you (or anyone else) noticed this?

    Then I will be able to choose!
    If i do go ipad, i think ill go ipad 1, its £270 vs £400 and in tests it seems to do everything the ipad 2 does, just a little bit slower.

    And while apple may make more complex specialized apps for ipad 2, I imagine 99% of new apps will work for ipad 1 too, they wouldn't want to alienate Ipad 1 owners.

    Also there doesn't appear to be a jailbreak for ipad 2 (running latest ios) yet.

    • they do alienate , my Iphone 1 cant be upgraded beyond 4.2 and any app after that tells me gfyBattleAxe
