It wasn't mentioned before, but you're able to use your computer keyboard to play the instruments in Ableton; the center row A-L as well as the top row; WER, TYU, and I think IO maybe P
These are representative of the white and black keys of a piano, though you are losing velocity sensitivity, you can still tap out patterns to a metronome instead of clicking a cell in a pattern then playing it back
