  Simple answer is no. Completely different type engines. You can copy text as stated above but it will behave differently and maintaining formatting isn't really an option. Copying graphics is different. You can paste vector art but it won't maintain it's grouping structure or any special fills, like gradients, the same way. If the art is too complex it'll force you to place it instead.
