If you are going to go out and hire top-notch talent - then maybe you should first know what the fuck you are doing to be able to use the talent appropriately in the first place.. why go out and hire the best and ask them to perform mediocre? if you recognize that the person below you perhaps is more talented - don't take it offensively as a threat - USE IT OR LOSE IT!! Grow up people - business has no place for hard or hurt feelings..
