a long time client of ours has a son that has just been hired on at one of our local competitors.
all our current quotes for the client were scrutinized and then lowballed by the competitor.
client asked us if we could match or beat the sons quotes.
we said we wouldn't, but would be happy to gather up files and send over to the son to help him make a good impression at his new post.
client says na, that he'd rather work with people that don't compromise on their worth.
