I loved it when i lived in greenpoint... everyone says its hard to get to bla bla... but your commute would still be shorter than crown heights... and its a nicer area.
I live in Long Beach now... a bit of a commute, but I pay the same amount for a 3 bedroom with a deck and backyard as I would for a one bedroom in NYC. Oh and i am a block from a private beach. my commute is about an hour & 15min
- I'll take the 2/3/4/5 over the L/G any day of the week.duckseason
- sure if you base the quality of living strictly off of what subway-line you live off
EPtype - Subway has a HUGE impact on quality of life. A shit commute ruins every single day. Fuck that.monospaced
- so does being on the other side of brooklyn from everything that there is to do/ see/ friends
EPtype - I mean... i see what you are saying, my commute sucks... but I also watch the sun come up on the beach every morning.EPtype
- Additionally, I'll take the Brooklyn Museum, Library and Prospect Park over Bedford Ave, McCarren Park etc.duckseason
- Just my preference.duckseason
